The company has been rooted in London for more than ten years, whilst also having branches in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. We are able to provide a 24-hour “no time difference” service with the coordination of our Chinese and British offices.


London Family Office provides students with one-to-one tutoring and interview training from private UK tutors who have excellent academic backgrounds, based on the personal needs of the students and parents. Senior consultants supervise academic progress, and provide comprehensive studying abroad services including the planning of exam preparation and a variety of other supporting services. Ms Evelyn Hou CEO

Ms. Evelyn is an experienced international education specialist, a teacher from Jiangsu province, a graduate of the University of Portsmouth, and the CEO of London Family Office, a professional service provider for Chinese children studying in the UK.

 

Ms. Evelyn's team not only maintains a good friendship with the government and educational institutions in London, but also acts as a guardian for many Chinese students during their study in the UK, building a bridge between Chinese families and UK schools, and successfully promoting the exchange and integration of Chinese and British education and culture.
Mr John Ing CEO

Managing Director of LFO UK LTD. Mr. John has been an educator at the highest level for 25 years. A former House Master at Harrow and Stowe, Mr. John is highly sought after for his very close relationships with many of the top schools in the UK. In recent years he established Quintessentially Education and is one of the founding Directors of the Dukes Education Group.

 

Mr. John’s network throughout the private schools is second to none. As our Managing Director his focus for LFO is supporting our families and through close relationships with the most prestigious schools in the UK, ensuring our students achieve the very best outcome possible.

 

A former Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Marines, Mr. John is married to Jude a Pre-Prep school Head Teacher and has two children, who are both recent university graduates. A Physics graduate and member of the Institute of Physics, in his spare time Mr. John enjoys Cycling and CrossFit.



Mr Nelson Lo Director of Course Coaching

Mr. Nelson graduated with honours from the University of Exeter with a Masters in Marketing and has worked for the Financial Times and the European Space Agency.

 

Mr. Nelson Lo is not only an expert in private tutoring, but is also the main director of Athena Tuition, LFO's tuition agency. Mr. Nelson provides interview coaching, matches students with tutors for interview tests and also provides distance learning and supervision online.

 

Mr. Nelson also provides professional planning and long-term coaching for international students who are integrating into the UK education system for the first time, and is a favourite with parents from all countries.


Mr Wesley Sanders Marketing Director

Mr. Wesley graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Economics and Politics and has worked with technology companies such as BookingBug and HelloFresh.

 

Mr. Wesley has worked as an economics and history tutor, specialising in teaching and tutoring at A-level and degree level.

 

Mr. Wesley has also tutored and taught for over two years in Suzhou, China, and has helped many students improve their grades significantly and apply to their first choice institutions. Has strong international educational resources and provides students with front line resources and needs.


Mr George Bainborough Academic Director, China

Mr. George has a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from University College London and a Master's degree in Psychology from University College London, specialising in child psychology.

 

Mr. George has 10 years of experience teaching English in the UK, China and other countries, and is adept at designing lessons to suit different cultures, social environments, and students' level abilities.

 

Mr. George is committed to giving students the confidence to express themselves in a strong and concise way, encouraging them to fully understand English in terms of structure and narrative, and has successfully supported many students to apply to top public schools in the UK such as Winchester, Wycombe Abbey School and Harrow Academic Scholarship.
Mr Richard Ogden Academic Planning Guidance

Mr. Richard graduated from Oxford University with a degree in History, and was awarded a music scholarship and graduated from Eastbourne College, one of the UK's leading public schools.

 

Mr. Richard taught at Magdalen College School, one of the top ten schools in the UK and known as the 'direct route to Oxford and Cambridge', and was elected to the Board of Magdalen Development Agency, where Mr. Richard was a tutor in History, Classical Civilisation, English Literature and Political Science.

 

Mr. Richard has a passion for education, having successfully helped a Somali student gain a full scholarship to Cambridge and Harvard University's History Department, and his family's collection has made a historically informed contribution to the British Museum.


Ms Ting Dong
Ms. Ting Dong holds a Master's degree in Media and Communication Studies and has extensive experience as the former Chief of Reporting at Sing Tao Daily Europe and later as the Manager of the Chinese Community Centre in the UK. With a deep understanding of British society, she conducts in-depth research and provides insights across various domains.

Recently, Ms. Dong has focused on school placement and private tuition matching students with Oxbridge tutors for exam preparation and interviews. Her exceptional guidance has resulted in nearly 100 LFO students gaining admissions to prestigious UK public schools. She also offers professional learning planning and long-term support for international students integrating into the UK education system.

Known for her expertise, Ms. Dong provides professional study planning and counseling services to international students, earning the trust of parents worldwide.

Mr Matt C.

Mr. Matt has extensive teaching experience, having worked as a teacher in 4 primary and secondary schools in the UK including Prospect School and Waingels College for 10 years; Mr. Matt has been tutoring in the international curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level and UK primary and secondary school preparation) since coming to China in 2016. As a whole subject teacher, Mr. Matt specialises in teaching Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English, Verbal Reasoning and Science.

 

Having spent many years in primary and secondary education, Mr. Matt is a professional teacher who knows the psychology of students and is good at interacting with them, as well as teaching primary and secondary subject knowledge and curriculum design, and is able to design learning activities based on clear teaching objectives while focusing on the development of students' habits.




Mr Toby C

Mr. Toby graduated from Cambridge University with a BSc in Natural Sciences and from Tonbridge, a leading boys' school in the UK, with 5 A* A-LEVELs in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Biology and Religious Studies. With seven years of teaching experience, Mr. Toby has successfully assisted students to enter top public schools in the UK such as Tonbridge and Winchester.

Mr. Toby has a passion for science and spent his first year at Cambridge consolidating his knowledge of the basic principles of biology and mathematics, before specialising in physiology/development and neuroscience, and has always had a keen interest in evolutionary biology. Mr. Toby specialises in teaching science (KS3, GCSE, A-Level) and also tutors for Oxford Natural Science / Biological Science entrance interviews.
